We are happy to announce our inaugural Family Appreciation Fun Day! It will be taking place on Friday August 27th from 1-5 pm at our Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership location at 1555 Route 17 South in Ramsey NJ.
This event will have a magician, face painter and food on hand. However, the big highlight of this event will be our first-ever Pinewood Derby race that you can watch or join to compete for a grand prize of $500!
Entering the tournament is easy since you're able to choose from 3 different entry packages:
- Individual that includes one car kit (pinewood block, wheels & axles) with assembly required costing $75
- Sponsor that includes one fabricated pinewood racer (pick from 3 designs) with no assembly required costing $100
- Parent & Child that includes two car kits (pinewood block, wheels & axles) with assembly required costing $140
There’s a special track coming up from Ocean County for the big race. It’s a state-of-the-art gravity driven 4-lane 32-foot long aluminum track that’s perfect for racing pine!
The aluminum used means that friction is minimized, so all of the racers can express themselves freely at full speed and uninterrupted.
An infrared timer clock stops the clock within a ten-thousandth of a second for accurate results. Race results are projected onto the big screen in real time, so it’s easy to determine which pinewood racer wins each contest.
