Jeep recently unveiled the Grand Wagoneer Concept, which is designed to give the world a taste of things to come when the Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer SUVs make their return to the roads of North New Jersey! With this model, you'll see heritage design cues that made this vehicle an icon such as:
- 2-spoke steering wheel
- Large glass windows
- 3D inlay heat-treated lacewood interior accenting on the instrument panel
- Teak wood exterior accenting on the headlamps & tie-down loop openings of the full-length single-pane glass roof
And that roof is just one of the many ways that the 3-row Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept previews the future of the Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer. With that being said, let’s take a look at what’s made this concept vehicle the talk of the automotive world.

How the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept’s Exterior Stands Out
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept gives a bold first impression thanks to the Arctic Ice color that brightens even when the sun’s not out. Contrasting this exterior paint are Obsidian Black design cues including:
- Jeep’s iconic 7-slot grille with an illuminated Wagoneer logo directly above it
- 24″ multi-spoke aluminum wheels with 3-piece caps featuring the Wagoneer logo suspended in acrylic
- Aluminum front skid plate
- Front tow hooks
Also making a statement in this concept vehicle are a couple of other appearance features we hope get brought back when the Jeep Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer come to our dealership serving Paramus NJ. They include our brand's heritage-inspired trapezoidal wheel arches with 3D printed elements underneath and Grand Wagoneer spelled out in raised aluminum letters with copper-side accents on the front doors' lower third.

What’s Unique Inside the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept
When you look at the Grand Wagoneer Concept’s interior, you’ll see loads of sustainable materials. Among them are:
- PUR synthetic seating, console, door & instrument panel upholstery
- Aluminum structural wing on the instrument panel
- Instrument panel-length Onyx glass mid-bolster
- Dinamica full suede headliner
- Thrive fiber carpets
If you love listening to music, we hope the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept’s customized McIntosh audio system becomes a staple of the production models. That’s because it uses 23 speakers connected to a 24-channel amplifier to provide the sound quality of a home audio system.
Last but not least, there are screens aplenty inside of this concept vehicle totaling in approximately 45” in length. Those screens are comprised of:
- 12.1″ horizontal center console display
- 10.25″ horizontal comfort touchscreen below the center display
- 10.25″ front passenger-side touchscreen
- 10.1″ comfort display screen in the center console between the 2nd-row captain’s chairs
- 10.1″ individual touchscreens for each 2nd-row passenger
- 12.3″ driver information display located behind the 2-spoke steering wheel

Like the previously announced 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept is powered by a quiet plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrain system. We hope that the Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer production models also utilize this powertrain under the hood.
